I have weighed up my feelings in the weeks and months since the attack, and I am still haunted by the events which I witnessed on that horrible afternoon on the Togo team bus. We were just footballers going to play a football match and represent our country, yet we were attacked by people who wanted to kill us all. It is a moment I will never forget and one I never want to experience again.

That takes courage and I don't blame him whatsoever.
Being faced with life and death is an experience that I guess no one wants to come up against.
I'm glad he has found a home at City and I think he will go to become a legend for City in the years to come and he will achieve great things with us.
Also I must thank him for his great contribution to the club and I would like to let him know that we are all behind him in everything that he does.
