Mancini: No Ansaldi move

We should all calm down about this one:

When asked if he was interested in Ansaldi, he replied:"No, in that position we have Bridge.

"In seven days he will have recovered."

Four left backs is a bit much.

I saw the footage of that interview. mancini was definitely not looking straight at the audience/camera's when he said that. don't rule this one out. he's a good young player, there aren't many left backs around fit the bill. he could be a bit of a bargain. i have a suspicion this one may go through.

four would be a lot until you remember that three of them are shit. sylvinho is out of contract at the end of the year, could easily be released. garrido could easily cover left midfield. bridge is just, well, bridge, sorely lacking in composure.

What about these Kaboul rumours? That would be a mistake. He's hopeless.
He marked Ched for France U21 v Wales U21, Ched got a hatrick.

Yeah the Kaboul rumour seems bizarre to me. Which is why I haven't blogged about it. I really hope I don't have to. I mean, as you say, he got merked by Ched Evans. Ched Evans!
